Dear friends of the Information and Culture Centre,
You are invited to Sakura Klubas!
Sakura Klubas is organized by the Embassy of Japan in Lithuania and its main purpose is to make Japanese culture closer to Lithuanian people. We decided to name this club after the name of the Sakura – the flower which symbolizes Japan all over the world. Sakura is loved in many countries, but in Lithuania it is loved probably as much as in Japan. Therefore we hope that this club will be known and loved as Sakura flower in Lithuania.

One of our prior intentions of the Sakura Klubas is to organize monthly Japanese cultural event which will take place in Vilnius and Kaunas. The Information and Culture Centre of the Embassy of Japan in Vilnius (M.K.Čiurlionio str. 82B) and Vytautas Magnus University, Japanese Study centre in Kaunas (Vaižganto str. 30). The events will be organized respectively once in a monthly basis.
